VERDICT: The Lucinda Russell stable has hit form of late and another chance can be given to Kandor, who fell on his chase debut when moving into contention at Ayr recently. Runner-up in a 3m point-to-point before, the five-year-old should improve for the rise in distance and he is narrowly preferred to Wetherby winner Cardamon Hill, who has been raised just 1lb for that effort. Cartonne, who was favourite for the aforementioned contest, unseated his rider early in the piece but is worth a second look on this occasion.
