VERDICT: She may not be the easiest of horses to handle but Lara Du Lerre (9) was by no means disgraced in exalted company late last month and, reunited with Paul Ploquin, and shod as she was here prior to that, may just have the edge over Lavalloise Girl (10) whose monte performances over the summer were particularly encouraging. Leia Princess (6) was sanctioned here recently but still showed her form and, front pads fitted this time, will have her chances. Lilou Trembladaise (1) opened her monte account at the first time of asking and will be no easy touch if she takes to the Vincennes profile.
