VERDICT: Both Amafort and Jeanne Darc caught the eye in their respective races last time and it will be interesting to see how much more the pair have to offer. However, Amafort has been given gate one and Jeanne Darc has drawn widest. Sonata Samaritan wasn't far off the latter when getting into a bumping match and is improving, so must be respected. Wings Of Josephine could be the dark horse. She has raced in the Western Cape and could have made good improvement during a layoff. Jumpthegreenlight and Skipper O'malley are well-bred first timers.
