VERDICT: Nikki Swango was somewhat unlucky when pipped in second over course and distance last week. She was tardy from the gates and suffered a less than clear route approaching the final two furlongs. She finished well, though, and is on a dangerous mark. Her stablemate, Skontonovski, is one for careful consideration as he arrives in winning form and his rider's 10lb claim has him on an appealing rating. Shoot To Kill got back to winning ways over this trip a couple of weeks ago and is dangerous despite an 8lb hike from the handicapper, while Mehman and Rampage are others in there pitching for prize money.
