VERDICT: L'artiste Zen (11) has been knocking hard at the door and is overdue a first career success. He gets the nod ahead of the smart Lotus Des Sables (12) who faces a new challenge on his first attempt left-hand. Lilius De Guez (3) posted a promising first run in this code at Angers and should be a player too with improvement likely. Lego Des Brouets (5) has a few lengths to find on the selection but remains a sound place prospect.
