VERDICT: Three miles looked a bit far for The Dooner Citizen when he ran respectably on his second handicap start at Clonmel last month. The lightly-raced six-year-old made late headway over 2m back in maiden company last time and this intermediate trip could suit. Beggars Rock was a beaten favourite when finishing ahead of the selection at Clonmel and was well beaten at Limerick last week when again at the head of the market. Dropping back in trip may help but he's unproven on testing ground. Rochestown is a dual course winner over fences who was runner-up on his most recent hurdles start. He is rated 11lb lower in this sphere and ran well first time out last season.
