VERDICT: Joker Du Lys (5) is a very useful trotter but he isn't the most reliable. He remains a huge a player in a race of this nature and can be retained ahead of last-start winner James Bond (7) who was visually impressive over the course & distance on 12 November. Jaguar Du Gite (8) and Jack Fouloniere (1) are both competitive in the claiming division and are expected to be in the final shake-up.
