VERDICT: A no-show over 7f here aside, Buttercross Flyer has acquitted herself quite well since joining Scott Dixon and came within half a length of doubling her career win tally at Wolverhampton last week. She is back up 2lb, but this race doesn't look all that competitive so it may not stop her from going one better. Penny Ghent also arrives on the back of a second, although her ability to handle an artificial surface must be taken on trust. Mambha is a contender if judged on her surprise track-and-trip success rather than her subsequent defeat here.
