VERDICT: A thorough professional since her first steps on the track, Melba Du Gers (9) was beaten only by a fine horse here late last month, and even though not ideally-drawn here, she still has the class to win this. Third that day but better-positioned behind the car, Midway Lady (2) has a realistic chance of turning the tables. Another promising individual, Mamma Mia (1) left a wonderful impression across town late last month and deserves to be well-supported. Mojita (11) was competitive at La Capelle before faulting, and Mathieu Mottier is unlikely to let the same thing happen again.
