VERDICT: Another progressive colt from the Mathieu Mottier yard, Lover Man (2) won unopposed over course and distance late last month and a similar performance would see him double his money. Lizzano D'alouette (9), however, showed his form under these precise conditions mid-October and looks the principal danger. Although sanctioned that day, Lautrec Quick (8) must be brought back into the fold, as should L'as Desbois (4) who was clearly in excellent shape at Laval.
