VERDICT: Willie Mullins has always thought a lot of Mirazur West. The full-brother to Ferny Hollow is a keen-going sort but has plenty of ability, as he showed when winning at Grade 2 level over timber last season. Mullins is hopeful fences might settle him a bit more and, if so, he could take high order among the novices this term. The stable also has a strong second string in Westport Cove, who was last seen running off a mark of 137 in a Punchestown handicap hurdle. Built By Ballymore is another who could fare better now over fences. His campaign ended on a couple of disappointing notes last season, but he had won twice previously.
