VERDICT: A C&D winner off 4lb lower in the Gosforth Park Cup back in June, Bergerac has held his form well since then. Kevin Ryan's likeable sprinter again acquitted himself with great credit when finishing third in the Ayr Silver Cup and, nudged up 1lb back at the minimum trip, he gets the nod. Kylian is yet to deliver on the promise he showed in his juvenile days, but his mark is fast becoming attractive and he commands respect. Equilateral, runner-up to last weekend's brilliant Golden Rose winner Night Raider at Kempton, is also noteworthy.
