VERDICT: Jackie Brown holds leading claims now that she drops back to 6f. Runner-up here over an extra furlong last time, the Tony Martin-trained filly held every chance before weakening inside the last. Although consistent from 5f to 7f, the four-year-old gives the impression that this could be her optimum distance. Champion apprentice James Ryan takes a valuable 3lb off her back. C&D winner I'm Spartacus has been running well in recent weeks. The Ado McGuinness-trained gelding will appreciate the extra furlong having run on strongly over 5f here last time. Jazzy Dancer would be a threat to all if afforded an easy lead, while Devil's Angel would be a serious threat if getting a run.
