VERDICT: First Angel enjoyed a productive campaign after joining this yard in the spring of last year, culminating in an impressive all-the-way victory over 2m1f at Stratford. Nudged up 2lb on his return from the sidelines, he gets the vote to land the spoils. Torneo should strip fitter for his chasing debut third at Uttoxeter and he must be of interest off 2lb lower, while last-time-out Hereford winner Famoso completes the shortlist.
