VERDICT: The Wensleydale at Wetherby was all too much for Denzil, but he booked his ticket to that Listed affair by strolling home in an admittedly weak three-runner event on his Stratford introduction and he can get another win on the board before possibly having his sights raised again. Tashan was more than four lengths ahead of the third Lenjoleur De Palma when touched off at Hereford and is an obvious danger. Romancier could bounce back from an unfortunate debut experience, and newcomer Livingit Du Large is worth a second look.
