VERDICT: This looks open on paper and only a tentative vote can go to Riyadh Gem. Picked up for 10,000gns as a yearling, the Oasis Dream colt fetched 150,000 euros at the Breeze-Ups earlier this year but hasn't yet been able to justify that price tag. However, a step up in trip looks certain to suit while the switch to nurseries, off an opening mark of 67, is another interesting angle. Yarmouth scorer Fernando merits respect from 4lb higher, while others to note include Anthropologist and Montbeliarde.
