VERDICT: Johnjay has been knocking on the door on his most recent starts and stepping back up to 1m2f may suit providing the four-year-old settles in the early stages. Crafter almost caused a huge surprise over C&D last week and has to be considered, especially being 2lb well-in, but the vote goes to Renesmee. Second at Chelmsford a fortnight ago, Alice Haynes' filly might have even more to offer.
