VERDICT: Hard race to assess. Maturing Mistra River (5) posted a career-best at Haras du Pin last time and should go well on her handicap and PSF debut if confirming that progress. Larmes D'or (8) didn't go unnoticed, despite finishing unplaced, in a PSF claimer at Deauville earlier this month and, with improvement expected, she should be a factor in the outcome. Perrine Cheyer's weight allowance should aid the chances of Wickbury (1) who caught the eye at Machecoul 10 days ago, so she is another with legitimate ambitions on her handicap/PSF debut. Signoria Piazza (9) has more experience than most of her rivals and should stand her in good stead.
