    A Abrivard

    Age 7

    1.70
Excellent dual-discipline type that ran 3rd of 11 in a 2850m Vincennes Class D on 18 October and, with Alexandre Abrivard maintaining faith, is very hard not to like
    Last Runs
    Dh1h1m1m2h3
  • 12
    Pierrick Le Moel

    Age 8

    2.80
Well-engaged here after being sanctioned, when full of running, in a 2600m Saint-Galmier Class D a fortnight ago, but with application, can put the record straight
    Last Runs

    M Abrivard

    Age 7

    4.50
Made up for his Durtal clinker when 3rd of 12, a place behind Forrest Gump Set (2), in a 2625m Class C at Agen-Le Passage on 23 October. Matthieu Abrivard in the bike this time and will be no shrinking violet
    Last Runs
    5h3h3h2h0h3

    E Raffin

    Age 10

    5.50
3rd of 10, at 62/1, in a 2850m Vincennes Class E on 8 November. Gets a leading driver for the occasion and will be afforded every chance. Place prospect

    F Clozier

    Age 9

    6.50
Ran 2nd at Beaumont before repeating in a 2625m Agen Class C on 23 October. Won here in September and with application, is unlikely to disappoint
    Last Runs
    Dh1h6hDh2h2
  • 11
    M Criado

    Age 9

    10.00
Is significantly better than recent 7th of 10 in a Class C over course and distance last week would imply. Is proven here and must be taken seriously
    Last Runs
    2h3hDh7mDh7
  • 9
    A Barre

    Age 9

    14.00
Pleasantly-surprising 3rd of 13 in a 2375m Castelsarrasin Class F 10 days ago. Is unlikely to cause an upset but has solid Toulouse references and should not be overlooked
    Last Runs
    DhDhDh4h0h3

    B Olicard

    Age 8

    22.00
Honest mare making first start since running 4th of 6 in a 2150m Biarritz Class E mid-July. Shoes on and others easier to back

    V Foucault

    Age 9

    28.00
Showed improvement when 5th of 15 in a 2725m Class F at Grenade-sur-Garonne 2.5 weeks ago but, with shoes on, is unlikely to repeat
    Last Runs
    9h7h5h0h8h5

    J Chavatte

    Age 8

    30.00
Hardy sort that ran 4th of 7 over 2300m at Kuurne 3 weeks ago. Has French form, is confirmed at Toulouse, and although not a priority, is still worth keeping an eye on

    Age 9

    55.00
8th of 15, on first start since the break, in a 2725m Grenade Class F on 3 November. Shoes on again and will pose no danger

VERDICT: There is a treat in store for us here with a number of serious older horses in the running, but preference still has to go to Swedish import Fighter Simoni (5) who has simply thrived since coming south. Gold Peji (12) could well have secured the double earlier in the month had he stayed is stride and, considering the entry, must be considered a leading contender. Happy Du Bois (10) reassured at Agen last time out and debuts at the venue with legitimate ambition. Eunis Du Patural (7) showed at Vincennes recently that he is on the way back up, and the engagement of Eric Raffin can go a long way.
