VERDICT: Having scored over C&D in September, five-time all-weather winner Dembe then wasn't disgraced when finishing fifth in a 14-runner affair at Newmarket. The Simon Pearce-trained gelding should relish a return to this track and a higher mark in this sphere may not be enough to stop him from getting his head back in front. Ureshii caught the eye on his third-placed handicap bow at Newbury in June and he's feared most, ahead of Kracking.
