VERDICT: Gardone has done well since switched to the Polytrack this year and may add to a C&D win in August. The Eric McNamara-trained gelding has shaped well on both outings since and is closely matched with Gallo Dell Cielo on running behind Barretstown a fortnight ago. The World's Astage, Dancing Steve and Beauty Bella filled the first three places in a separate division of the aforementioned handicap here two weeks ago and that trio are all worthy of consideration. Tipperary winner Dancing Steve has built up a series of consistent efforts here, while Chopsticks and Marians Gal have also advertised their chances here recently.
