VERDICT: A competitive race. Kalouga (2) has been pretty good of late and does deserve a narrow first choice. Kenza Kalouma (15) was not disgraced in a better race than this last time out and should be a serious threat if at best. Konquerant (9) returned to form with a solid barefoot win last time out and remains unshod. Kalima Du Goutier (6) is unreliable but did win last time out and would not be a surprise follow up winner.
