VERDICT: Pachmena is a busy Flat performer who reverts to hurdling and appears nicely handicapped under a 5lb claimer. She has had 52 runs on the level, winning three races, and has raced just five times over hurdles, but her fourth-placing at Tramore in August reads very well as the winner and third have since greatly improved their ratings, while the fifth also won subsequently. Jeaniemacaroney finished a useful fifth in the Lartigue Hurdle at Listowel in September and, being ground-versatile, should again compete well. Red Trail's previous hurdling form is ordinary, but she has a favourable enough rating as has been running well on the Flat.
