VERDICT: Balko D'ange has shown mostly consistent form and might be sharper than when beaten on reappearance at Wexford last month. Fourth at Listed level last March, he will appreciate softening ground and can continue to progress. Artic Lane has been tremendously expensive to follow since a really promising run at Leopardstown last Christmas, but nonetheless has shown nice form. He unseated on his hurdling debut at Sligo last month, but has winning point-to-point form and will also like softening ground. Marcus Furius has been running well, although possibly needs to improve to win. Faceman ran OK on his recent hurdling debut, but was beaten 10 lengths by Artic Lane at Listowel in September and is 7lb worse off.
