VERDICT: A highly encouraging second on his debut over hurdles at Carlisle, the way Woodland Park shaped on that occasion when keeping on at the finish gave every impression that he is ready for this rise in distance. The five-year-old gets the vote ahead of Jakar Du Moulin, who was snapped up for 175,000 pounds after running out a taking winner of a point-to-point in February. A Moments Madness shaped well when fourth at Wetherby and cannot be ruled out either.
