VERDICT: King Of Dark (6) was a good second at Pontchateau at the start of this month when beaten in a close finish. He can go one better this time and is preferred to Diffly River Ann (3) who was a decent fourth two runs back at Auteuil in a handicap chase in mid-October and if emulating that run he can play a lead role. Ivkarozh (7) ran a credible race in a Class 2 chase at Auteuil recently and can make the top four. Jazz Festival (1) makes up the shortlist.
