VERDICT: Winner over course and distance late last month, setting a personal best of 1.10.5, Garou Du Chene (3) sports the same configuration, has been handed a good draw, and is in with a shout of doubling his money. Contrastingly less-fortunate with the draw, Halo Am (9) nevertheless returns to Vincennes on a 4-timer and can pull it off if Yoann Lebourgeois successfully negotiates the start. Hold Up Ranais (4) ran well here in September before and delivering and oddly-below-par effort at Meslay-du-Maine, but is clearly close to his race and looks a major player. Garou Du Chene (3) made up for his Caen blip with a solid Laval effort and, breaking in front, is unlikely to disappoint.
