VERDICT: Life In The Park is without a win in over two years, but is generally consistent in valuable handicaps and has a solid each-way chance. He was placed in Nationals at Ballinrobe and Kilbeggan last year and has again figured prominently this year at the Cheltenham Festival and when beaten less than two lengths last time in the Galway Plate. The yard remains in cracking form and The Short Go is another to consider after finishing second to another stablemate in Senior Chief at Cheltenham last month. Gordon Elliott saddles over half the field and riding arrangements suggest American Mike is the pick, while Yeah Man and Perceval Legallois are part of a strong Gavin Cromwell quartet.
