VERDICT: Night Raider produced arguably a career-best effort to score by over two lengths in a conditions stakes at Kempton last month and he might have plenty more to offer. Karl Burke's three-year-old went into the 2000 Guineas unbeaten in two starts, but beat only one rival home. However, now might be the time he builds on that early promise. Albasheer is a C&D winner who wasn't disgraced in fifth in a Group 3 at Dundalk last time and has to be considered. Annaf completes the shortlist.
