VERDICT: After back-to-back failures at Quinte+ level, Aiguiere D'argent (1) bounced back with a reassuring 5th in a Clairefontaine handicap recently and a repeat of that performance could suffice in his bid to preserve a 100% Le Croise-Laroche record. Portrero (3) is also somewhat of a course specialist and seems best equipped to threaten the selection's unblemished record at this venue. Druide (2), competitive at this level off his current mark, last-start winner Coeur De Roume (7), even under a 2,5kg penalty, and Mi C'infilo (5), who races for new connections, appeal most of the remainder.
