VERDICT: More than capable when fit and focused, Kanto Avis (12) has form at Laval, races barefoot this time, and has the class to win a race of this rank. Sanctioned, when prohibitive favourite, at Agen last month, Karlito (13) won his only start over course and distance and returns to racing left-handed with legitimate ambition. A veritable steamroller in this configuration, Kiss Me Again (9) returns to Laval on a hat-trick and, fresh for the occasion, looks a major player. 25m better off here, and unshod behind, Kronos Zen (2) reassured at Meslay-du-Maine last time out and, if focused, can play an active role.
