VERDICT: Very much an open affair this, in part because few have any Vincennes references, a hesitant preference nevertheless goes to the game Iliade De L'iton (3) won nicely in Brittany earlier in the month, and with the talented Agathe Poulain in the saddle this time, can open her metropolitan account. She will still face opposition from the reconfigured Iquem Narcy (11) who won at Cabourg before being sanctioned at Le Mont, and Iona Gendreenne (9) who has been on the charge lately. Winner here last winter, Iceman Bleu (5) is not exactly a model of consistency but, competitively-shod, should be taken seriously.
