VERDICT: He may not be the easiest of horses to handle but Jannig D'erevan (14) has buckets of talent, could well have pulled off the double last time out had he not faulted but, entrusted to Yoann Lebourgeois this time, can make amends and win this. Jipet De Crepin (11) thrives under these conditions, will be fit by now and, shod to preference, with Eric Raffin in the bike, can make a big splash. Johore (7) has been afforded ample time to recuperate after winning over shorter here and, barefoot for the occasion, is unlikely to disappoint. Jovial Haufor (6) faces his first objective of the winter and, although arguably better over shorter, still merits respect.
