VERDICT: Mehlango (9) could be the answer to this open handicap. He has been shaping well on his last three runs when placed on all of them. He looks overdue for another success. Miyalaa (3) could be the main danger, she was a fair fifth last time in a competitive handicap at Clairefontaine last month when a few of today's rivals also ran. Venus Oceane (4) shaped well at this track two runs ago and looks like the each-way option. Luna Rock (8) is also worth considering.
