VERDICT: Sounds Victorius, a course bumper winner before subsequently finishing fourth in Grade 1 bumpers at both Cheltenham and the festival here, can make a winning debut over hurdles. The Willie Mullins-trained gelding, who has the potential to take high rank in the novice hurdle division this season, should have too much class for these opponents. The Diddler, who has reached the frame on both starts over hurdles so far, has to rate the main danger. Given her previous experience of jumping, the six-year-old mare looks the one for second, ahead of Limerick bumper winner The Dancing Tree.
