VERDICT: Tribal Star, who only weakened late on when fourth over 1m4f at the Curragh on his Irish debut, should appreciate dropping back to this trip. Runner-up twice over the distance when trained in Britain, the son of Sea The Stars looked set to play a leading role before stamina came into play last time. With the benefit of that run under his belt, he can strike here for Ado McGuinness. Realism is probably no longer as good as a mark of 92 suggests but the Joseph O'Brien-trained gelding can win races. Third on his reappearance at Killarney last month, the five-year-old was fourth at Cork over hurdles last time. Dahab is another to consider in first-time cheekpieces.
