VERDICT: Kankin bumped into a subsequent winner when finishing runner-up over an extended 2m3f at Plumpton on his return last month and, off an unchanged mark, he must enter calculations for all that a more fluent round of jumping will be required. Eyed is narrowly preferred. He made a pleasing start to life with this stable when finishing second over 2m4f at Wincanton recently and, off the same mark with the promise of more to come, he looks the one to be with. Zmiinyi is noted too.
