VERDICT: Having stayed on encouragingly when runner-up at Southwell, a breakthrough victory shouldn't be long in coming for Grey Salvo. This represents a drop in class for Roger Fell's filly and she rates as the one to beat. Kildonan should prove more competitive reverting to maiden company, although he does have something to prove after finishing last at Pontefract. With that in mind, President Wilson may give the selection most to think about, despite this drop in distance looking against the son of Bobby's Kitten.
