VERDICT: Although Sex On Fire has something to prove after two defeats at York, the combination of a gelding procedure and a longer trip should see him in a better light. He cannot be ruled out, but Immediate Effect makes slightly more appeal. The son of Study Of Man overcame greenness when making a winning debut at Wolverhampton and he may be able to find enough improvement to defy a penalty. I Can Imagine and Sahara Dancer are others to consider.
