VERDICT: Beaufort Scale, who has proven stamina from facing stiffer tests in Ireland, appeals strongly back in novice company and is readily suggested as the one to be with. Stratford scorer Minella Rescue is far from the finished article and, unexposed over this trip under Rules, rates a serious threat to the selection. Carrig Kate wasn't beaten far at Stratford last month and is another appealing option. Betting support for point-to-point winner Subtle Fortune would be noteworthy.
