VERDICT: Beta Reader's inexperience has got the better of him in both starts so far, although last month's improved effort at Southwell indicated he was going the right way. This shorter trip will likely suit and he gets another chance, with Charlie Johnston's yard back among the winners in the past week. Sandscreendeliverd is a half-brother to a Listed sprint winner and could go well if attracting support on his debut, while Naughty Eyes and Sundiata Keita are other newcomers to note in the market.
