VERDICT: Lieutenant Mayne won twice in bumpers on testing ground earlier this year and is an interesting recruit to hurdles. The John McConnell-trained gelding raced prominently on both occasions including when making all on the Midlands National card at Uttoxeter. Masterboy Davis was placed twice in bumpers also on heavy going last season including when just denied at Punchestown by Sounds Victorius who went on to finish fourth at the Cheltenham Festival. Make Sunshine has some jumping experience and was fourth in a Wexford maiden recently, while any market support for Another Challenge would be interesting.
