VERDICT: Spasiba is a useful stayer on the Flat and has shaped well in three outings for current connections this year including when third behind stablemate Sirius in the valuable amateur riders' handicap at the Galway Festival. The selection also filled the runner-up spot on his only hurdle start in a Limerick maiden last Christmas for Sam Curling. Musta Lovea Lovea has plenty of previous experience over hurdles and was placed three times here last season including when third to Slade Steel in this corresponding race. The race sponsor Oliver McKiernan is also represented by Syracus Du Houx, who was second in a Punchestown maiden this spring.
