VERDICT: A 260,000gns yearling who is a half-brother to four winners, Humam showed good speed for a long way before weakening into third over 7f at Newmarket first time out. With that recent experience under his belt and the drop in trip likely to suit, Andrew Balding's colt is preferred to So Darn Hot, who has got closer to the target with each of his three starts and only went down by three-quarters of a length over 5f at Yarmouth last month. My Mate Beattie has also shown ability in her four outings and completes the shortlist.
