VERDICT: Richard Fahey has won three of the last four runnings of this apprentices' handicap, including with Zip in 2020 and 2022 and the eight-year-old returns to Town Moor on a lower mark than for both of those victories. He shaped well when third behind Onemorenomore here a fortnight ago and the winner doesn't have the assistance of Billy Loughnane this time, but he does reoppose on similar terms. Stanage was an easy winner of a maiden over this trip at Chelmsford last time and boasts sound double claims on his handicap bow.
