VERDICT: Mr Le Philosophe has shown very little since arriving from France, especially on the Flat the last twice, but it could mean he is dangerously well handicapped. Even so, it would take a big leap of faith to select him so National Question, who was a surprise second at Newcastle last week and is well-in here, gets the nod. Grifter is better than he showed in that race, while A Day To Dream offered a bit more encouragement at Sedgefield.
