VERDICT: Only worn down late in the piece when second on his chase debut over 2m4f at Uttoxeter last week, Kelce is expected to build on that excellent effort. The six-year-old is preferred to proven stayer Gipsy Lee Rose, who scored over further at Kelso last November and was a winner at Newcastle latest, though seems to have a preference for softer ground. A respectable fourth on his return at Kelso last month, Return Fire cannot be ruled out either.
