VERDICT: Having built on his eye-catching fourth at Newcastle when subsequently landing the spoils at the same venue last month, Better is one to keep on side at present. A 4lb higher mark looks far from insurmountable for the three-year-old and he's taken to follow up. Fortunate Star hasn't been disgraced in four outings since his last spin on the all-weather and he's feared most off a career-low mark. Bernard Spierpoint and Sirius White are others to consider.
