VERDICT: Tripoli Flyer travelled strongly when just touched off by his stable companion Horaces Pearl in the Grade 2 bumper at Aintree's Grand National meeting and this appears to be a fine opportunity for him to make a successful start to life over timber. Dual bumper winner Jurancon finished second on his hurdling bow at Worcester and has to enter the reckoning, along with newcomer Mon Kaplais and 150,000-pounds point-to-point winner Disguisedlimit.
