VERDICT: Sullivan Bay had Sir Joseph Swan (second) half a length behind in this grade at Chelmsford on his latest outing and is expected to confirm that form to have a say. However, it may pay to side with Alex The Great, who occupied the runner-up berth over 1m6f at Wolverhampton in September and has since switched to the Tony Carroll stable. If he can back that level of performance up, he could prove tough to beat. Anna Of Saxony completes the shortlist.
